Google Chrome will shortly begin shaming all sites that don’t have an SSL installed by showing the red ‘X’ in the URL bar.
Previously the ‘X’ was only shown if the SSL was invalid or insecure but the new push to encrypt everything is leading to showing the ‘X’ even if there isn’t an SSL installed at all.
