Apple Music was released today and with it comes a monthly subscription. A single membership is $9.99 and a family membership is $14.99.
Want to use the 3 month free trial but don’t want to be billed when it runs out? It’s easy to turn off the auto-renew.
After you’ve signed up, do the following (jump down if you just want screenshots):
- Open the new Music app
- In the upper left hand corner tap your Account
- At the bottom of the Account Settings, tap ‘View Apple ID’
- Towards the bottom of the Apple ID Settings, tap ‘Manage’ under ‘Subscriptions’
- On this settings screen you can adjust the renewal process (auto or manual) and whether you want to change the account type.
